次 for occurrences
V + number + 次Use 次 to count how many times an action happens.
Frequency adverbs
S + 常 / 经常 / 通常 / 总是 + VPPut a frequency adverb before the main verb to say how regularly something happens.
才、就、再
才 + VP / 就 + VP / 再 + VP才 often marks something later or less than expected, 就 something earlier or more immediate, and 再 a repeated/future action.
Result complements
V + 完 / 好 / 到 / 懂 / 错 ...A result complement tells what result an action reaches.
一…就…
一 + V1 + 就 + V2Use 一…就… when the second action happens immediately after the first.
