hskone is operated by Kevin and currently runs without learner accounts. Most learning state stays in the current browser.
Browser-local learning data
The application uses localStorage for lesson steps, lesson completion, communication-task drafts, exercise progress, saved mistakes and flashcard-known marks. Clearing site data removes these records from that browser.
No current learner account database
The current release does not create a server-side learner profile, accept account registration, process payments or synchronize progress between devices.
Hosting and ordinary request data
The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, request headers, timestamps and security information needed to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the service. hskone does not use those request logs as a learner progress record.
Analytics and advertising
The current application code does not rely on advertising trackers or a learner analytics profile. This notice must be updated before adding analytics, advertising, accounts, payments or any new category of personal data.

Guides may link to ChineseTest.cn and other primary sources. Those sites apply their own privacy practices after you leave hskone.
Your choices
You can remove browser-local progress by clearing storage for hskone. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in communication-task text areas because they are designed only for language-practice drafts.
Policy changes
Material changes will update the effective date on this page. A public contact channel will be added before the custom hskone.com domain is treated as the final production launch.
