Kevin is responsible for hskone's editorial direction. Quality requirements are applied while content is created and continue through post-publication review and correction.
Development standards come first
Course lessons and practice products are created against documented requirements for syllabus scope, vocabulary and grammar coverage, pinyin, translations, explanations, audio ownership, answer logic and learner flow. Technical CI is kept separate and focuses on whether the application typechecks and builds successfully.
Primary sources
Syllabus claims are based on the stored HSK 3.0 syllabus source and its structured extraction. Time-sensitive exam dates, registration windows and score rules should be checked against official primary sources such as ChineseTest.cn before publication or update.
Official facts versus original learning content
hskone separates official syllabus facts from its own explanations, lessons and practice material. Exercises, reading passages and mock tests are original hskone learning content and are not described as official HSK questions, official papers or official scores.
Course, practice and mock material
Course lessons teach language in context. Focused Exercises, Listening, Reading and Productive Writing use separate material to test transfer. Mock papers use another set of assessment material so a learner cannot pass simply by remembering lesson or practice wording.
Publication and continuing review
HSK 1–3 learner products are published and indexable. Publication does not end quality work: Chinese naturalness, pinyin, English meaning, answers, distractors, audio and difficulty continue to be reviewed and improved using editorial checks and learner feedback.
Corrections
Confirmed errors should be fixed at the appropriate source or content layer and propagated to affected lessons, exercises, pages and audio. Time-sensitive articles should display current update dates.
Credibility limits
hskone does not invent qualifications, test results, affiliations or review claims. Practice material is clearly presented as hskone content rather than official examination material.
