HSK 1 Chinese Character Writing
95 Level 1 recognition characters also present in the official combined HSK 1–2 writing inventory
Watch the correct order, trace with early hints, then write from memory. Trace and Write complete automatically when every stroke is accepted in order.
Watch, trace, then write
Watch shows the validated stroke sequence. Trace keeps the target character visible and gives earlier stroke hints. Write hides the completed character and checks each stroke in order. Progress is saved only after a Trace or Write quiz completes.
Writing, Characters and Vocabulary share one node
The Writing workspace uses the same relationship graph as HSK 1 Characters and HSK 1 Vocabulary. Selecting a character keeps its writing target and related HSK words connected instead of duplicating separate datasets.
What this practice set means
The official HSK 3.0 syllabus publishes one combined HSK 1–2 writing-character inventory of 100 characters. HSK One does not invent a separate official HSK 1 writing list. This Level 1 practice set is derived by selecting characters that appear in both the validated HSK 1 recognition inventory and that official combined writing inventory.
Handwriting practice, not an HSK 1 exam section
This page is a Chinese-character handwriting and stroke-order tool. It does not claim that handwriting is a standalone HSK 1 exam section. Stroke-order feedback comes from supplemental Hanzi Writer stroke data, not from the HSK syllabus.
