subject + 也 + predicate

Use 也 before the predicate to add similar information.

我喜欢唱歌，她也喜欢。Wǒ xǐhuan chànggē, tā yě xǐhuan.I like singing; she does too.

我也看电影。Wǒ yě kàn diànyǐng.I also watch films.

Actions in progress

在 / 正在 + verb

Use 在 or 正在 before a verb for an action in progress.

我正在看电视。Wǒ zhèngzài kàn diànshì.I am watching TV.

他们在唱歌。Tāmen zài chànggē.They are singing.
