Basic predicate sentences
subject + predicateUse a verb, adjective or noun phrase as the predicate.
我爸爸是医生。Wǒ bàba shì yīshēng.My father is a doctor.
他今天很忙。Tā jīntiān hěn máng.He is busy today.
Workplace with 在
subject + 在 + place + 工作Use 在 before a place to state the workplace.
我在学校工作。Wǒ zài xuéxiào gōngzuò.I work at a school.
她在医院工作。Tā zài yīyuàn gōngzuò.She works at a hospital.
