Location nouns
上 / 下 / 里 / 外 / 前 / 后Use a location noun after a place or object.
书在桌子上。Shū zài zhuōzi shàng.The book is on the table.
学校在超市后边。Xuéxiào zài chāoshì hòubian.The school is behind the supermarket.
Existence with 有
place + 有 + nounUse 有 to say that something exists in a place.
学校里有书店。Xuéxiào lǐ yǒu shūdiàn.There is a bookstore in the school.
这边有饭店。Zhèbiān yǒu fàndiàn.There is a restaurant here.
